Depth Question

Regarding some Etrac Channels hitting deeper than others. Yes, I do think that the channel you use makes a difference.

Why? Because depending on how much electical interference there is in your area and what channel you're using, some channels will be clearer with less noise.

The deeper you go, the more little things like using the right channel make a difference. You might not have seen or heard any electrical interference in your area but, if you're trying to detect deep targets, small amounts of noise might be affecting your detectors performance.

I think it boils down too what machine you have on hand. I have read so many comparison post on which machine goes deeper and it comes down too what machine you have and how used to the machine you are. learn your machine and have confidence in it and you will have a great hunting experience.

The Garrett 350 had the stock oil on it. The hole was opened and the dime was placed down around 11". The Garrett hit it on every sweep.

Ok. That makes sense. The Ace 350 with an 8.5 x 11" DD vs. the 250 with a 6.5x9" eliptical.
