Depth on a Whites 6000 di pro sl

Anyone tell me how deep your finds have been using the Whites 6000 di pro sl?

I have the Silver Eagle....which is the digital version of your detector (came out approx 1992). When I lived in Des Moines, IA (low mineralization) I snagged an about uncirculated 1903 barber dime at 9" in the coin\jewelry mode. It was a whisper signal, and I am an experienced detectorist, which helped.
Here in Idaho, very severe mineralization. It's mining country I snagged a 1/4" diameter button at 7" in the jewelry/beach mode.
You have an excellent machine, learn it, you will be pleased.
I forgot to add, these finds were with the stock 950 coil.

Thanks for the response TerraDigger

Under good, moist soil conditioms, I consistantly recover silver dimes at 8"-11"...quite often to the limits of my Lesche...with a 5.3 coil. Run the SIG BAL as close to wide open as you can stand & discrimination set to allow tabs/nickels. On my machine, I rely on the audio to find a good target & then confirm with the meter. If it shows deeper than "4" on your depth meter, dig it!

Don't forget to "save" your removed soil on a towel so you can get it ALL back where it came from...Leave No Tracks!

Cheers,
DR
