Depth gauge

How accurate is the depth gauge on the ET. It says it goes to 12 in but does not display in inches .
Unless i am missing something Thanks Mike

Mike,
Page 25 in the manual says the increments are in inches with the bottom of the depth gauge being 12 inches or 30cm.
I have found the depth gauge to be fairly accurate in inches on dime sized targets.
Larger targets at the same depth as a dime will actually be slightly more shallow as the target size increases.
A penny that reads 6 inches will probably be only five, a quarter that reads 6 inches will be only 4, etc.
At least that's been my experience.
