depth capability of the Golden Umax

For you owners, under wet soil conditions whats the best depth you've located a coin, say a silver dime. Thanks for your time.
 
It seems to me from posts from Tesoro owners that Tesoros up to the Golden gets pretty much the same depth -- somewhere in the vicinity of 6-7" in mild ground and provided that you've used the machine for a little while. The basic differnce between them all up to the Golden is the number of bells and whistles that dictate the difference in cost.
Besides, if I recall right, the jury's still out on whether wet ground actually makes a difference one way or another.
