That is correct....We have tried many ways to get Minelab to do what for us was common practice.

Of having detectors with the disconnect preinstalled for our customers before they arrived to us for sale.

Now if you do this mod. it voids the warranty

do you automatically get the free lightning rod with the excal? Do you have to do anything special to get it ? I want to order a excal 1000.
