Delta coil for Tesoro Vaquero

I am considering buying one of the new Delta DD coil for my Vaquero and would like some input about them if anyone has used them. I don't use my Vaquero as much as I used to and wander if it would be worth it to invest in one of these coils. Thanks.

Depends on where you're going detecting. I have two of 'em that came with Tesoros I've bought, but I took 'em off and use my 5.75 coils nearly everywhere. If you do open areas with little trash, the 11x8 DD is a good coil. Light, well made, fairly deep and sensitive, and covers a decent area. Not my favorite in trashy spots though.
 
My UK version of the Vaquero came with the 11x8 coil on it,must admit the jury is still out for a verdict on this coil,for open clear pasture sites its pretty good,but my main use for this machine would be on trashy roman/saxon sites so leaning towards getting a 5.75 concentric as i think will work much better for my specific needs.
 
Thanks for the help. I went ahead and ordered it anyway. Like Amberjack said you can never have too many coils.

:thumbup: It is a good coil. If you have "mild" soil with your typical park trash too, treat yourself to a 5.75 concentric as well. ^_^
