Delta Beer Plaque

Hi there. I didn't find this metal detecting , but my wife's father (61 years old) has had this since he was a kid and it used to belong to his father before that. It seems to be made of some sort of resin or plastic with a metal stand on the backside for displaying purposes. It measures 10 1/2" tall by 8 1/2" wide and about 1/4" thick. He was trying to find out how old it could be and if it has any value. My wife tried searching on EBAY and google for a similar sign or plaque that matched this one , but came up empty. I told her that I could post it here to see if anyone has any information on it's possible age and value. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot!

The Delta brewing company 1933-1940, Escanaba, MI. -made delta beer from 1933-1939.
Items from delta seem rare with such a short time in buiseness.

When Prohibition ended in 1933 the building was taken over by the Delta Brewing Company. More than 15,000 people celebrated the opening of the new brewery and were treated to free beer and sandwiches. Delta operated until 1940.

I came across this thread while doing some research on Google. If your father-in-law still has this item I would love to work out a deal to purchase it. I actually live about 3 blocks away from where that brewery was located (the building still stands) and collect various breweriana that came from there. Let me know, thanks!
