Sorry about your results. There has to be targets to find. There shouldn't have been a problem with depth. I found a gold plated cz at 6" and the last 2" was wet sand. Also found a nice 925 ring. 7 rings total for the beach. I found a very thin ankle bracelet which is hard to pick up on any MDer. Many ear rings, belly rings and all kinds of coins, even some old silver coins. In the summer at Daytona Beach I could get $5 in coins in an hour. All that was in less then a year.

Nice to hear from you again. WV. is making me work for everything I get. It is giving up very little jewelry. I did a lot better in Fl. I loved the mixed of the different types of MDing in Fl. I liked going to the beach at 4 pm. and cleaning up after the crowds started leaving. The coins are rarely any deeper then 4". It was like play. The digging was sooo easy. I also got a lot of old coins when they tear down old homes. I always kept my eyes open for them. Here when they tear down an old home, they scrape everything into the basement and leave nothing behind for me. I wish I was down there to do a little MDing. I would look you up and we would get some loot. I MDed here and I MDed there. I know there is loot to be found there. Oh yea, It comes out of the ground a lot cleaner in Fl. Don't give up, it is there.

Too many people in VA.MDing. I have to make my contacts and get adjusted to a different type of MDing here. I have a place 12 miles from me. It is a big cw encampment. I have been talking to the locals there and it looks good for me to MD it. The Ace is having trouble with the mineralized ground here. I want to wait to MD it when I get a GB detector. For now I will scrape the surface of the parks.
