lad to hear they are fixing it. The Static mode in mine seems to do what you describe ("from a low iron tone to a very loud faster really increasing audio to a screaming audio") but I never use it so it's not a concern. Like gradually detuning a detector so that it registers everything.

Hope you get everything straightened out.

One does have to re-set the circuit from time to time by pulling the pinpoint trigger. This should take care of the noise your referring to.
