I have a Deleon and it just never seems to be quite. What am I doing wrong or is it time to send to Tesoro? I want to use it as it is almost new. Am I setting it up wrong and if so what are the correct settings?

I have a Deleon. It was very noisy, I used that way for 18 Months. Then I sent in and Rusty rebalanced it and a couple of other things too. It was like a new detector after. I think sending it in may be a good idea.

IF you have alot of EMI around it is very sensitive to its effects I:E power lines, electric fences, even your cell phone. Also it dies not do well in soil that has alot of iron like here in VA etc. I know I HAD one.

Thanks guys for the info. I did turn off the cell phone after the first try and that helped a little bit.
I don't think the soil it that way here in SW Ohio. My electric cattle fence was 150 ft away.
I guess I will try somemore then it's back to the factory.

I was in my front yard over 150 ft from the electric fence. I can't see that effecting the machine.

Turn off the fence, try another area.. This should feel you right away if it's the machine or area. Nakso drop sensitivity, you don't need to run it all the way up. Hope this helps.
