Deleon quirk ?

I'm a new Deleon user and am wondering if my
machine is functioning right. I understand when
no target is available the D then displays DISC.
However, sometimes, instead of DISC, the
display will show a 0 id with a large bar over
iron. A new target clears this quirk. In short,
sometimes DISC and sometimes the zero and
large bar over iron. Should I contact Rusty as
this is a new machine ??? Thanks.

Sounds OK to me. Hold the coil in the air, it will spell Disc because no target is there. If the coil gets close enough to some iron it will show 0 and the Iron bar will start to rise even if the Disc knob is turned up.

0 is for ir0n, 95 for silver (large)..everything else somewhere in between.
