Deleon Question

Mine is quite accurate on coins for a machine's best guess although the way it was designed you get a numeric reading and a bar segment that represents copper penny, dime, quarter or silver all in one lump. You don't know whether you're digging a penny, dime or quarter until you see it. That works okay for me as once I'm pretty sure it's a coin, I'm going to dig anyway. I've also gotten to where I can figure pretty accurately if it's likely to be a quarter by the tone, but it's very subtle. It does well at I'ding nickels and zinc pennies versus the other coin reading, however.

The depth indication seems pretty close for a machine's best guess although I seldom pay a lot of attention to that as I'm going to dig likely coin signals regardless of depth.
Hope this is helpful,
BB

Mine is very accurate, if it reads 95, you can just about be sure its a coin, but sometimes gets fooled by a piece of alumn. most accurate of any id unit that i have used.
