deleon id?

It will read very close to a regular nickel. But maybe a few numbers higher if you were air testing it,
but in the ground you wouldn't likely tell the difference unless it was very shallow. But if you dig all
nickel signals and just above, pulltab signals, you should be good....

Jeff

your average nickel signal is anywhere from 35 to 42 on id now the first war nickel i ever got which was with the deleon and was 1943 registered 95 on the TID of my machine and IH pennies were a solid 68

I have 9 war nickels and checked them all last night just to verify my comment....

They all read very close to a regular nickel.... All 9 that I've found were with a metal detector
and they all read about the same on all of my machines. Most the same as a nickel and a few
just a little higher, but not more than a few numbers....

Jeff

who knows maybe i had a fluke, not denying your comment sir at all, i remember the first v-nickel i ever got bounced between 45 to 52 and almost did'nt dig it so not sure what to tell you, but glad your finding them
