DeLeon/Golden depth??

Does the DeLeon go any deeper than the Golden or are they about the same? I have a Golden and thinking about trading up. Thanks for any info.

I like the Golden better than any of the other Tesoros. While it can't match a Tejon in depth, I actually get more depth on higher coins with my Golden/ShadowX2 7 inch coil than I did with the LST and 8 inch concentric. It's a killer on dimes, odd considering it runs at 10 khz and the optimum frequency for dimes is around 2.7 khz. I got my first detector in 1969, have used most of the supposedly deepest detectors made since then, found thousands of coins and doubt if I've dug over 40-50 coins the Golden wouldn't have got because of how deep they were. I got the brass whatsit, shown actual size in the pic, at well over a foot with the Golden at an old homesite today, plus several wheaties down to around 7 inches. For my use I wouldn't swap the Golden for a Deleon, or any other Tesoro, right now <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)">.
