Deleon finds another ring, but...

Was thrilled to find yet another in a long line of great finds with the Deleon. However, when I cleaned up the ring, I see the stamp "VVV925". I suspect that it is only silver plated. Can anyone confirm that?

Was still great to find, and is the 4th ring this year with the amazing Deleon. It's the first TID machine I've owned that is finding rings for me. I think it's because I'm working primarily with the audio like I would with any of my other machines.

Also, I was pleased to find the Deleon found a penny at a measured 9" today. Not bad!

Yeah, it's plated. I read on another forum where someone found one just like yours. You're right about the Deleon being able to find rings:thumbup:.

A 9" deep penny that is impressive

Would have been a more impressive story if the target was a silver coin, or a gold ring! :clapping:

I can't say enough good things about the Deleon. I think it's time to part with the Vaquero and the Outlaw. I'm not offering them for sale here because of the rules concerning posting, so I won't say anymore about that.

With the Deleon and the Tejon my bases are covered.
