Defective BH Elite 2200

Twice today my Elite 2200 indicated that there was a quarter present and twice it was wrong. These are what was found instead of money.

Am I expecting too much when I think the Elite should indicate for example: "A man's sterling silver ring, size 9.5. Most likely made in Mexico.?:rolleyes:
