Deer hunting season (the four legged kind)

With deer hunting getting in full swing how many of
you continue to MD in the woods? I just recently bought a
florescent orange cap and vest, the kind road/construction crews use.
Figure if these hunters can't see that they don't have any business
running around in the woods with a gun.

This is my favorite time of year, and yes it is a good idea to wear bright colors when MDing the woods.

You're right on all counts Old Katz, but you got to remember that half of us are below average. The rest are only above average at a few things. Quite a few don't have the common sense of a moth about anything but they vote anyway. Dirtfishin and game hunting are not compatible activities on the same acres at the same time. MDing can nterfere with game movements and hunter strategy, and not all hunters can be 100% relied upon to know for sure where a bullet winds up... even when they're not annoyed. IMO, It's best to keep a close track on hunting season dates and use those times for checking out the backwoods areas of parks and other areas without the potential for conflicting interests, Especially on weekends.

yes need that florescent orange vest on when md in the woods here to kingsport ,tn c.a.s. hunter: :csflag: mxt300

I do not hunt in the woods generally but if I did I would definatley wear orange during hunting season. Speaking of deer here is one I took a picture of from my arcadia window....;o)

Nice pic of a fine buck. He's wearing some battle damage but I don't think it's from another buck. Doesn't really look like a fence encounter either. Maybe he had a run-in with a truck. Was he limping?

He was not limping, I thought he had been fighting. I had some does in my yard eating from an apple tree and thats the reason he was hanging around.
