Deepest Seeking CZ For Gold At The Beach

ringpull

New member
Hello there everybody.
This is my first post, I am primarily a beach detectorist and am currently using a Fisher CZ3D, whilst I am happy to find older coins on the beach I mostly like finding Gold rings, and would appreciate any advice on which of the CZ's offers the best depth at the beach, as the gold tends to be deeper than the coins etc.
Best Regards

Personally from the original CZ6 to the present CZ3D and CZ70 all are deepseeking units and your CZ3D should serve you well. I would imagine even with two like models one might be a bit hotter but in the long run no clear winner...Swinging slow and perfect ground balance all equate to better depth and stability...Don't own the present 12.5 coil from Sunray but it would give you extreme coverage and more depth....Remember digging at beaches is easy compared to land so would set your discrimination low and dig all with Foil being the hotspot for those thin gold womens rings with nice stones...

CZ20 if your actually going into water...If just on the beach remember the CZ20 is locked in salt mode and is a tad less senstive to gold and may not be as deep..Also weighs a ton on land but great if atually in water as its built like a tank....Might suggest CZ6A or CZ70 or one of the CZ models that are weather resistant as blowing sand can be a problem..

I agree with Dan, stick with the 3D and use the enhanced mode when not in the wet sand. Remember though that ALL CZ's drop some stuff down to an iron reading, so turn the disc down to 0 and dig the soft (keep the volume out of the boost area) iron hits to see find out those actually are in your conditions.

Thank's to everyone who replied to my posting, I have taken it all on board, I have also gone and bought the Sunray 12.5 inch coil so will stay in touch and let you know if I have success or not, Merry Christmas / Nadolig Llawen.
