Deep Tech Vista Relic Detector

New member
Does anyone know anything about this detector? I have read a little bit about it but would appreciate actual users comments about it .Who sells this detector and how is the sweep speed of this detector compared to a sov gt or an mxt or a f75 ? I saw the that it weighs about 3lbs and the hertz is around 8 and it looks interesting Thanks for any information and it is greatly appreciated. Ezra

Google Extremedetecting and you will get the web address for the USA distributor. Has videos and specs. I'm interested in it, as well. I believe they come from Bulgaria.

I'm one of the deep tech usa pioneers that have used the rg 1000, the vista gold, and RELIC, and just recieved my smart this last week but up here in Maine ground is froze so sent it down to Keith southern for testing and also the relic for his hot mineralized georgia soil, what i can tell you about it is purely very fast recovery speed with depth to match has a boost feature manual ground 2 tone non ferrous to ferrous disc, the vista god has a unique feature of fast/slow recovery switch and when in boost and slow mode depth is unbelievable 25khz will hit a dime at 12" in boost mode, no bull in this particular vid this a sword pomel i later found it was right around revolutionary and war of 1812

Thanks for the info I am only interested in the relic detector because of the frequency and weight. I have other detectors but not in that frequency with a good sweep speed and actually most of my hunting is farm fields in Pa. for old coins so I like a faster sweep speed to cover area.Maybe I will wait to see Keith Southern.s test results. Thanks. Ezra.

i can tell you this its the deepest of the fleet 8.6khz has boost feature and i'll show you this vid of it

Hi - we are the exclusive USA importer and have the full line of DeepTech Vista machines.

Check out the website for more info...

I was told that the Deep RG 750 was the deepest of the series..Would anyone wish to comment on that???

I don't believe so anymore there has been 5 new models out since and i believe you'l find that the RELIC, GOLD, SMART are the deepest at this time all have a boost mode with a gain 10 to 20% more depth

I air tested a silver dime.Disc at 9 o'clock, sensitivity at 12 noon due to electrical chatter. in disc mode, and got 10.5 inches, which was going downhill like a sled..No juice in the battery..That is a fifty dollar air test..You put your fifty down, I put mine down, get, at least 10.5 solid inches, and walk away with your money.. I believe that The 750 is DEEPER than the gold..Do you have a valid e mail for the company.?..Going to shorten the cable, get a power source, then go out into the world and really, air and ground test this monster..Still half a dial to go on sensitivity, and All Metal to play with.?????....And, just to show that my heart is in the right place, I'll let someone else call the distances. To compare to the Vista RG 750, I have a modded Vaquero.. The Vista is DEEPER and at home as a DEEP relic hunter. The "V" is a yard, and soccer field machine. Difference in depth, with a faulty power source, 1.5 inches..Am sorry that I can't run real world comparisons now.To tell you the truth, I would like to see Deep tech, and Tesoro team up............

OK KVM2 I'm GOING TELL YOU SOMETHING RIGHT NOW AS A USER OF DEEPTECH MACHINES FOR 2 YEARS NOW AND I DO TALK TO THE OWNERS REGULARLY AND HAVE OWNED THE RG 1000 THE RELIC, AND GOLD! THE RELIC COMPARED TO RG 750 IS DEEPER WHEN SWITCHING ON BOOST AND I ALSO OWN A SMART NOW I'M GOING TO TELL YOU SOMETHING ALSO AIR TESTING DON'T MEAN JACK! YOU BETTER LOOK ON THE DEEP TECH FORUM MY FRIEND AND CHECK WHAT KEITH SOUTHERN IS DOING IN HIGHLY MINERALIZED GROUND WITH THE GOLD AND AS A MATTER OF FACT HE'S TESTING ALL 4 EXCEPT THE RG 750 NOW YOUR 750 MAYBE DEEP WHICH IS THE ONLY MODEL I'VE NEVER HAD MY HANDS ON I ADMIT BUT SINCE THAT MACHINE MANY IMPROVEMENTS SINCE AND THE 750 ITSELF HAS BEEN IMPROVED, GROUND MINERALIZATION TELLS THE STORY OF DEPTH REGUARDLESS OF ANY VLF MACHINE AND HOW ITS SET, PERIOD! OH BY THE WAY I'LL PUT $100.00 BET ON THAT!

As you are a user of Deeptech and familiar with almost all the models, which machine is the deepest and works best in heavy iron? I primarily relic hunt and that's the two areas I'm most concerned with. My ground is moderately mineralized. From what I've seen on videos, I'm leaning towards the "Gold", but if the "Relic" does the job, that would be fine by me. And, I'm confused as to what your bet is on. Depth? I have a Bliss and it beats anything for depth I've ever seen. I'm looking at Deeptech as a possible compliment to the Bliss when working in an area laden with iron.

Thanks for any light you can shed on which machine will suit my needs the best.

the best in all around in iron is the gold with the seperate iron volume and when coupled in slow mode recovery speed it brings the machine to life in depth will hit 13" nickel the recovery speed in iron will keep up with a deus or a xp but if its silver your looking for or larger items the relic will do very nicely but is just one tone though and you can get at the moment a 5" coil wide scan at the moment and in mid march a smaller eliptical coil will be coming out

Thank you for the large print, didn't have to get my glasses..Essentially, I was saying this is the depth I got,and will put up $50, any time you want to call it. At 50 percent sensitivity, wonder where it could go..Mr Southern beat me to his gold.. In fact if he is the same man, I donated an ounce of silver to his club, or maybe another Keith???I am going to have a battery box cobbled on, see if the coil wire can be shortened to prevent falsing and, get the phones to work..It is going to two East Coast hunters who are hitting quite well, and should do better with the potential of additional depth. However since the idea is to sell detectors, I'll paint this one paper bag brown and call it the "Unknown Detector". They will be asked to only brag on what they found, and not give a make. That way you will not have to play down an old detector making good finds. I'm sure you can figure out other ways to generate interest.instead of having" Deep Tech" hits on Finds three or four times a week. I will provide Tesoros for the archaeologist(s) to use..A Hopewell village site should still yield some good copper artifacts. One really good piece and all the archaeological and historical societies in Ohio will be using Tesoros. I'll even offer to come along as a free consultant to help them scope out the sites and work them...Yes, I know, major sacrifice on my part.......but someone has to do it....

It didn't hurt my eyes at all, because I didn't waste my time trying to read it. :)

as much as i like tesoro i'm glad you will be providing i am so happy for you and since your all ready a legend in your own mind and know every deterctor i will stop waisting my time trying to explain deep tech, since you already know everything about them, i just feel bad about the archeologie people are not going to find the stuff among the iron seperation or depth wise, congratulations to you and future ventures!
