Hello everyone well there has been this church in my area that has been hit very hard and was very happy what i pulled from there this morning, fisrt thing a first for me, a sheild nickel date is unreadable and 2 IH pennys 1859 and 1862 plus i think i got some gold, its a little locket type thing and on the inside of the hinge door found a pat of nov 16th 1875 and yesterday at the same area got 1937 merc dime too, got to clean the coins a little better
Good stuff there A good machine is only good in capable hands, and you definetly have the touch. After seeing what you found on Saturday it looks like you are matched up perfectly with that detector. It was good meeting you this weekend by the way.

Don't know much about the machine but your an experienced user I would guess with almost 1500 posts in 3 years!! Congrats and keep the good finds coming.
I went to a local school loaded with trash to kill a few hours. I hunted in disc. set at the 1:00 position and only dug coin after coin down to 8 inches. Not one piece of trash. Pretty great for a beep and dig detector. Dont tell anyone I was at a school yard.
