Deep Targets

New member
Hi everyone, I am new to this forum and have just bought an X Terra 70. I have tried it out in a few parks and down at the local beach in Perth WA.Very happy with it so far but have a question that I hope someone can answer. When detecting will I always get a number reading on the screen when a target is detected regardless of how deep it is?.

Yes +90% of the time if the detector is properly ground balanced, sensitivity set appropriately, and no interference. At the limits, the ID may be higher, lower, or variable depending on target shape, size, and orientation.
