Deep snow finds...

JOE in MD

New member
targets were deep in snow not in the ground! I did manage to get a Flat Button( with designs on it), Part of a pewter spoon, and what looks like part of a heel plate. Also found this guy running around looking lost in the woods. He had a dog tag on with a phone number. We called and met the owner to give him back. It was a tuff one detecting in this much snow, but when your hooked you hunt in any conditions. LOL

Good job my friend finding anything out in that mess!!!!!...Deep heavy wet snow like we got is miserable just to walk around in........I was out for about an hour y-day......Wore me out quick cause I didn't sleep well the night before....I'm hooked as well and have no where near the experience you have, so when things don't go to well, I usually give up with the thought that this is supposed to be fun, and whatever I'm missing will be there later....
