i tried the deep silver program and could not find a target way to noisy when i thought i found a target i couldn't pinpoint i read that a lot of people like this program what am i doing wrong

I had the same question and was given the suggestion to turn Mixed Mode off until I spend time with ,and get comfortable with the program. The noise your hearing is because its running discrimination and all metal audio at the same time.

Think of it as one program piled on top of another. The tone ID is the distinction for the disc. mode and the monotone is the all metal. It is a little tough at first but once your ears get used to all the "noise", it is manageable. So much of the data on shallow targets is off base...by design. Pinpointing at shallower depths is problematic as all of the programs predictability happen mostly on the deeper targets... by design.
Patience and learning in uncomplicated ground, would be key to gain understanding on what to expect from it. Quiet "chirps" need to be listened for to get the deepest audio side response, and flickering semi-consistent VDI's will be a key too on "deeper still" targets.(Same as with all programs it's just that you have the background "all metal" sound to interpret also.) The more you use it...it does get less confusing. I have used it in clean ground only. Just thinking about using it in trashy or nasty/EMI effected dirt gives me a headache. More time with this machine will change that but I'm not holding my breath. (There is so much to learn still in the less intense programs for me!)

Great post NW, the key here is "I have used it in clean ground only". I MD to relax and listening to Mixed Mode is WORK for me.
