Deep in a faraway corner ...

Deep in a faraway corner , in the wooded area of a local park are two very large trees. All the other trees have been logged . I ask myself , why were these two spared? Did the landowner want to leave a couple for the children to play on , or did he live close and wanted a couple of shade trees? There are a lot of possibilities. I think Ill take the Vaquero there and try to figure it out. The public doesnt know about them. Its not easily accessible .I know about them because Im constantly exploring.

Hat pin, sounds like an old house site, I would keep at it probably a cash buried next to one of the old trees I have a site like that way back in the woods, it was a depression shack its still untapped, but i need to make a good trail out to it and then the videos will come. my one and only nice token came from that spot about 400 ft from it seeing th my have been poor just may be some tokens

I also found a pipe going straight down in the ground. I think it was one of those hand pumps. Not a lot of trash. Found some hot rocks that are not natural here.

It looks like you found yourself a good place to detect. I've had my best luck detecting on the shady side of a tree.

I found a bunch of CW bullets today detecting on the shady shady side of an old oak tree that 3 three men couldn't get their arms around its base.

I'm not sure how old oak trees can get.
