Dectector Froze Today No Control!

I went to shut the detector down and thought I did, but when I went to turn it back on it has a ERROR message "unusual error has accured". I had not control of the detector,and it would not shut off. Being it is a mini computer I pulled the battery. Then restarted with no problems.
Just threw that out incase it happens to you.
