Decisions, decisions..

Here I am, in a bit of a quandary. I have both an Ace 250 and a GTA 1000 PM.. which one to keep? They seem to be about equal in small target sensitivity and depth; the Ace is lighter with only 4 AA's while the GTA has many more features and better notching. As an aside, can the recent spider/elliptical concentric be used on the older detectors (maybe by swapping connectors)? Whadya think? ...Willy.

Keep them both or send the one you don't want to me. :clapping:

Why not keep both and be well equipped. I have eight or nine detectors. Used to have about 14 until I weeded them out. Just sold my X-5 as I hardly ever used it and hated to see it wasting away.

Well, I have very little space (and less money) and prefer to have detectors that aren't too similar. Take either of the Garretts and compare them to my Compass X-100; totally different machines. This gives me a lot more flexibility. ..Willy.
