I bought a dfx last fall, have used it quit a bit, but today decided to take out my trusty easy to use xlt, and the results were awesome, found 9 clad dimes 3 jeff nickles,25 mem pennies and 1 1958 wheatie and 2 rings both gold, the little 1 is a childs ring with a small diamond chip, the bigger one is 18K with 5 diamonds and a very fine tiger eye, I hope the picture shows up,this place has yielded its share of silver but none today.the dfx is still a learning process for me but the xlt is just hard to beat.

Nice finds.I want to go metal detecting with you and hunt were you go all i got today was a nickel and a penny rained almost all day here.

thanks guys for the comments, the rings were found at the same site that my 10 year old found a 1914 d wheat penny this will be on whites web site the first of april check it out, what a proud day that was for him and for me I love to see kids reactions when good stuff is found,we even enjoy the bad days just spending time togethor. Kansas is a little harder to find the good old coins but they are out there.

Nice finds ! A two gold ring day is awesome. Nice job.
