Decided to give the wheatie patch a rest ...

Hi Guys,

Here's a few finds from what I've labeled the iron patch. (An endless supply of square nails mixed with hard packed gravel). I did manage to dig up my 1st Barber quarter for the year along with a badly corroded 1858 flying eagle cent. To add to the mix was a couple of flat buttons, a Rosie, a Cascarets (Laxative) advertising token, a headless horseman and ONLY five wheaties. I think I'll take tomorrow off from my detecting habit and mow the lawn. The grass is getting pretty deep.

Awesome !! Would love to find a barber quarter !

Excellent finds. Nice Barber quarter and a Flying Eagle cent is a real tough coin to find. The headless horseman is cool too. HH

Flying Eagle penny is on my wish list!!!

Nice job!! Hire a kid to mow the grass and keep detecting........

Thanks Dave. I was getting tired of seeing all of those wheats. Just kidding. Those are some nice finds you posted.:clapping: and congrats on your first Barber for the year. HH.
