After a few months of research I just bought a ID Edge.I'll be asking a few questions on it when I go out.The 2 feet of snow has to go away first.
The photo is my snow ride.
 
So that's what MDer's with Cabin Fever in Vt do in the winter.:lol:

If you have a chance to get the small coil, get one. Got mine from Mr. Bill sponsor/admin/professional curmudgeon.:poke:

I think you will be very happy with the Edge ,Ive had mine a little under a year and its payed for itself in the first six months i just got out this weekend again as the snow has melted and the grounds thawed out in most places happy hunting and good luck
p.s. It works well as a wadeing
detector i just use a bino strap
to hold it to my chest
