DECENT HALF DAY!:clapping:

Hit one of my local parks and finished off the other half I couldn't get to last time. I found my first mercury with the 2500 (1927 hit by mower) @ 2". The rest is all clad and of course the gazzilion pull tabber wabbers. My most quarters yet in one hunt and some of those nickles and pull tabs had me on edge thinking the might be, well you know.
Here is the loot;

Here is the trash;

And thats how you do it. Listen carefully to those pull tabs.....a gold ring and a nickel have a smooth soft sound to them.

Nice haul. It shows you have to dig junk to get the good stuff. I know, I dug about 20 pull tabs yesterday.

More in a half day than I sometimes dig in two or three FULL days! WTG!

It's cool that you showed a picture of the trash, too, to give the whole picture. That was a lot of work diggin' all that trash, but if that is all of it that you found, it looks like you have a pretty respectable coins-to-trash ratio.

PS- whatcha got wrapped around your handle with that blue tape, there?

I wrap my handle with clear celifane siliphane sylifane selifane ......... oh what the heck clear sand which wrap, I makes it easier to clean handle. That and a sandwich bag on the display (carefully stretched over so bag won't break) and it still looks new at the end of the day with hardly any cleaning. I been in the mud a lot lately and boy does it help.
I practice safe detecting:angel:
