Dec 31st, last hunt of the year and I got another first today for me!

Went back to the "Silver Mine" Park this afternoon and pulled a 5hr hunt. Got another first find for me. A find alot of you consider trivial, but still I've never found one. Enough yakking, on with the photos.

Find Totals. 1 toonie, 1 loonie, 3 quarters, 1 dime, 2 nickels, 38 pennies total. Other finds follow in pics.

Some kind of shiny tin? ball, with holes at either end. Any ideas?

Brass ring?

Piece of junk bling chain with hasp. Nothing else in hole but a piece of iron at 8" deep.

Immaculate 1952 George VI Penny.

And my first Indian Head Penny, in Canada no less. Not the best shape, but I've seen far worse ones. 1904....oldest coin from this park now, beats the 1908 "V" Nickel. Five more years to jump the century mark....soooo close.

Anyway, that was my day. HAPPY NEW YEARS!! GL & HH ALL!!

Nice pics. 2012 is probly gonna B a good year for you . Might need some new tires on your ride soon though. Can u please tell what type of camera U R using , mine took a sh-t on me yesterday and I'm looking for another. Thanks

Sent you a PM Inch.

Congrats on the oldie coins.

Great finds! Looks like that spherical piece might be a large bead from an old necklace costume jewelry. :)

This one is 1-1/2" wide and the wire is 1/4" thick.

Congrats on the Injun...the ball with the holes kinda looks like Mardi Gras bead...

They are all good finds. Are you sure the chain is not silver?

Yep. It's cheap aluminum.
