Death in family - father-in-law passed away - funeral tomorrow

The closer one gets to doing what is right in God's sight the harder satan tries to take ones eyes off Jesus. With my sisters having their medical problems, mother-in-law with Alzheimers, my step=mother back in the hospital, my Dad wearing himself thin and not taking care of himself - he's skin and bones to what he once was and now my father-in-law has passed away - but not on. He showed no Christian light in him. Sherry asked "What does one say at a fumeral for someone who didn't believe in Jesus?" The best I could say is "Ashes to ashes and dust to dust". "Let the dead bury the dead." There is no encouraging words of how he has gone on before us to be raised up in heavenly places or that he is no longer in pain and suffering.

"God I ask for your grace to touch those still on this earth to hear you voice and to heed your call to salvation and repentance. I know it grieves us to lose someone because of their disbelief, it must grieve you even more knowing these people have a choice and they chose not to come to you. God let as many as possible come to you in Jesus precious name before it is too late for them to be saved. I pray this in Jesus name and receive it done as you promised that anything I ask in Jesus name you will give it me and that your word will not return void. Thank you Father, in Jesus name."

Sorry I have not been around here lately. Miss you all.

Our prayers are with you all!

It sure is tough when the person is a non-believer. When that's the case, I think of the thief on the cross. You never know what takes place in the final moments...

...and prayed for you and your family. I am very sorry about your loss.

God bless,

Prayers for Sherry, you and the family.

Dave
