Dear Garrett, please manufacture........

That is a excellent idea. Sometimes I leave mine on the ground and orange would be a nice visual reminder that I need to pick it up. You should send the suggestion to Garrett.

Add a one foot wrist lanyard.

Heck I'd even settle for neon yellow or bright red. A speaker off option might be nice as well.

I do not know why they did not do this from the start...You come out with an All Terrain detector...You know your gonna need a pinpointer...Why would you sell the detector, and have folks going to Vibra Probe for the pin pointer???

HH,

:smoke:All Good Points! Use a lineyar get rid off the speaker No Sound just vibration ( No Speaker les holes no water leacks)
water proff the light...

Well if no speaker, it should vibrate x2 as loud. I have trouble sometimes feeling it through winter gloves.

Here is an idea for those of you who have left your pin pointer at your last dig site. I've been using this for some time and it works great. I agree with the idea of a water proof and a brighter colored pro pointer. Maybe someday !

How's about a new machine with accurate imaging to depth, water proof and using wireless lechnolgy for both machine & headset with a manual over-ride for using your favorite headset.

Just a wish!:cheekkiss:

Hey, they could even throw in a feature that digs, neatly, recovers the target and then properly fills the holes! If I'm going to dream, it might as well be big!

I'm too lazy to read all the posts so this may have already been mentioned. How about a small switch inside the battery compartment to change frequencies. This way it can be used with other brands without cross talk. Or give it the ability to auto shift the frequency. Like turn your favorite machine on then hold the Propointer to the coil and hold the button on until it finds the best frequency. This way Garrett would sell a lot more Propointers.

Wrap some electrical tape around the speaker hole, (you'll still hear it) and get some spray paint and your good to go.

I don't care if the darned thing is Sky Blue Pink! I want to see a nice wireless interface without the need for the stupid headphone adapters.

Don't forget to cover that light, too. I did and drowned a Propointer. I use marine grade silicone to seal the speaker and light, wrap tightly in Magic Fix it tape, put a little silicon grease on the battery seal. Seems to keep out the water now. Frankly, they could do away with both the speaker and light and the
PP would be pretty much water tight. Who needs 'em anyway??

I think the little LED light is for non-detecting chores...like finding stud nails etc....it sure don't light up any holes I dig...lol

I like one that serves a Vodka Martini, too. With a pinch of olive juice. Maybe it could be stored in the shaft.

Thanks for the suggestions about offering up the idea to Garrett, I'm sure someone there reads this forum (if they don't they should..lol) But I agree with the other suggestions to have wireless headphones. That would be awesome!
