Dealers

Well, I've been a member since 2007 but it seems I don't have enough post to view the classifieds. Looking to get a DFX 300 again and very familiar with them. Just looking to get back into the hobby. Is there a good national dealer with very reasonable prices other than K co??

go to www.whiteselectronics.com they will hook you up with your local whites dealer.

You can go into White's web site. Click on Dealer Locator and put in your zip code or home town. A list of dealers will come up on the screen. Also any dealer who sells White's on the web is not allowed to list there prices. So I would just give them a call and discuss prices.

Thank you! I recall years back getting a great deal on a XLT without all of the useless garbage which normally came with a K co package. I believe it was called American detector sales in TX but I don't know if their in business anymore :-(

You can view the classifieds only if you are logged-in.

The rule of the number of post states; "Only Forum Members Registered for 90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale ads." So, it doesn't forbid buying on the classifieds with 24 or less post, only selling, if that rule is written correctly.

Craig is right about White's not allowing their dealers to list prices on the Internet. (Kellyco is exempted from that rule with their Classic 4 and Classic 5ID models.) Try calling some of Find's sponsors that advertise here.

Happy hunting.

Hi Phil
That is very odd because even though I've been a member since 2007 with only maybe 14 or so post I can't seen to view the classified section. Very perplexing to say the least

I suggest you try Central Illinois Detectors. Owned by Larry Fillman and his wife Nancy. He advertises and supports these forums. Most importantly he shares valuable experience with all of us. Give them a try.

Thanks for the Kudos, but Kellyco is the only dealer who can sell White's detectors on a National basis, other than that, your local dealers might have the best prices............ you can always by direct from White's but at list price only.

P.S.- Nancy, yours is appreciated also.

[size=large]call kellyco and get a quote from them. i did that then called my local dealer and he met their price. didn't get all the free junk kellyco gives but supported my local dealer. may have cut his profits but some was made up in buying other things from him as well as advise on local contacts and info.
it's your money. support the locals but save yourself. i've saved quite a bit by buying from outside my very local area. crossed state lines and saved a couple hundred bucks just in sales tax. you do what ya gotta do shopping is the name of the game in everything.
