Most of us will never spend that amount over our entire life time for our camera gear, much less for one lens. I would never spend money on a lens like that, and I am very happy buying old vintage lenses for $50 to $75 dollars, operating on a budget. I may not have a lot of money to spend on my chosen hobby of photography, but it really does not matter to me because I am having fun. It is all about having fun. Kelley (Texas) :)
