Had a chance to get out and dig a little yesterday, finally had some good weather. Hit a lot behind the local middle school started swinging first few signals were pieces of foil. About 50 feet from the car I got a solid silver signal at 3" out popped a 1936 Washington quarter. It has seen better days as it is well worn, sure makes you wonder when was the last time it saw the light of day. I think that is half the fun of this hobby. I also found a small silver ring with what looks like amethyst stone. So far this year I have recovered 2 silver rings bout 15.00 in clad a few wheat's and lots of junk jewelry from the tot lots. Sorry no pics but my comp died a slow death but the parts are on order to resurrect it so I will post some at a later date. Keep looking down...good luck!
