Went out dirtfishing for a few hours today hit the tot lots first not much luck there Tabdog must have been ahead of me at every playground I went to. LOL.... Found a little change so I decided to try my luck in the rest of the park for a while found a couple of bucks in clad in a couple hours. Decided to take a lunch break and plan the afternoon hunt, decide to stick close to home and went to the school that I found the 35 quarter at worked the area around the bus loading zone found lots of clad there and a Bronze National Defense Medal son No. 2 say it can be anywhere from 1950's to late 80's. Also found a key with a silver looking frog on the key chain but I don't think it's silver. The wind started really kicking up and I decided to call it a day and as we all know keep swinging till you get to your vehicle. Just as I was beginning to think the rings would have wait till next hunt Bam got a solid nickel/tab reading of 40/37 and back again at a depth of 3". Usually nickels don't change values they just hit around 35/37 and stick there since I was in a field I cut a nice 4" plug and right in the middle of it I saw a glint of gold after cleaning the dirt away there it was a nice 10k/12k back hills gold ring bout a size 6. I think I will have to search that field somemore as it has given me two first of the year gold and a silver coin. So any of you walking behind a De Leon keep at it as it will deliver the goods......................Keep looking down..rocks
