DD Coil

New member
Well this morning I exchanged enough clads to almost pay for a 10x14" PROformance Power DD coil.
A few weeks ago I followed your instructions on a post titled "WHATS WITH ALL THE FALSE READINGS?" and experienced great improvements in my number of finds. Thank You All very much!
Now I am back, asking for some help.I have ordered a 10x14" PROformance Power DD coil for the purpose of hunting on an old plantation where there is very little trash and many relics and coins. I have found many 1827-1964,coins, buckles, etc. with my stock coil. However I know that I have also missed many relics and coins.
As you all helped me fine tune my 1350 for the max performance with the stock coil,; can you help me set up my new DD coil.
Thank You in advance.
Your friend,

First of al it loves bottlecaps. It has more ground coverage as it detects the full length of the coil. It only detects side to side because of the wedge shaped signal pattern It detects aas deep at either end as it does everywhere else so pinpointing is done off the front center tip of the coil. Start out with lower sensitivity and work your way up. I have a field test on the DD at losttreasure.com
