day with the Compadre

Well-known member
this has been the worst year in 7 years for me no silver or gold at all , but i had a very good time out with the compadre , and it was a nice day , I used the setting just left of foil , so I could hear the Iron blank and good targets came thru ,

I had a bad year also. I did get some gold and silver, dut, nothing to brag about. Been spending a lot of my time staying with out mother. She is very old. In bed most all the time. Trying to get her in the nursing home where she can get the help she needs.
You are doing good with the compadre. You will find gold. I feel it in my bones. Take care... KEN

If gold and silver is there you'll find it. I wish you could hunt some where I do. You'd have a field day. Nothing could hide from you!

Wait a minute Gunnar! Didnt you find a silver bracelet or something at that one place by the Cities a few months ago? And Ken, wont you be heading of to the Phillipines soon? Plenty of year left me buckos! All a guy needs is one solid hunt to make a year...Regardless, you both have mad skills in this sport...Ole's jar of gold and silver coins is but one swing away!:clapping:

Any day spent with the likes of a Compadre is a good day! Gold or not.

Good hunting! A buddy of mine just got a Compadre as a backup machine and found a nice 1893 Indian with it the first hunt at about 7". I think he will be using it a lot.

Ken your faith will bring a gold ring to me , and TAB someday i will get on a nice spot like yours , and after all this dry time I will really be thankful , hay cold water is best when you have been in the desert, and Ice creem on rare occasions, what i did not tell was i got into a spot by a Electric wire and the com[adre was really chirping and fasling but when i got over a good target it would clear up and beep good , and i found most of the coins that way. Austin your buddy should like the compadre, and i have not tampered with the insides of mine , its plenty deep

Gunnar, I really like your positive attitude. Keep swinging that coil and I'm sure good things will come your way.

The best part of using the compadre is having fun, it looks like you did that today! The compadre is nice especially when you can put any coil ya want on it for different places!

Hi Mud, I am not sure if I will be going this year. Our mother is on her way out. We are taking turns staying with her 24 hours a day. It sure has cut into my detecting. So, while mom is still with us, I have no plans for the Philippines... KEN

I might have a junk, bent up, smashed gold ring without a stone in it I could send you..... KEN

I like your post Kaolin , I like every bodies post. People hunt in different areas and different ways. My brother has 40 acres way out in the country.along a small river. Its a perfect place to ford. I wish you could dissect it with me.
