My wife & I left out this morn early and hit some places out of town. I detect, she reads & crosswords. Sure nice that I dont have to drive after digging all day. Dug 83 coins, a silver dime, 2 wheats & silver bracelet.

Here's the dime - 1960, and the '925 Mexico' stamped bracelet. It's a nice fairly heavy woman's one and fits my wife just right. The cowboy hat has stones sparkling all around the band and I almost had heart flutter when it popped up. Soon tho, I saw it was not valuable metal. Still fun to find, steve in so az

do you use those small radios to talk back and forth with each other? I think for safety those would make a great addition to ones tools.

Well they would be if one had a partner to hunt with :lol: otherwise one would think you're a bit heat touched talking to yourself.

Will have to get a set of those. Last I say you could get them for anything from 1 mile to 12 miles. They might be even farther by now.
Hear some have a weather alert in them too - that would be great to have as well built in if it works good.

No, I usually try to keep Nancy in the car within view. She sometimes comes to where I am digging but usually stays in the car. When out with a digging friend the radios would be great, steve
