Holy Cow! The DeLeon did it again today it produced the the best find yet! Went back to the soccer fields, got a late start arrived about 8:30 grass was still nice and wet I bounced around from field to field searched the goals again hoping for another ring to top off the weekend. Once again there was plenty of clad and can slaw to keep me busy. During the week while planing the weekend hunt I had looked at a satellite view of the soccer fields that I would hunt and made a mental note of where the goals were and spectator areas were. While hunting today I those areas a little more than yesterday, about 3/4 of the way on pass the DeLeon rang out with solid 18-20 signal but it was very choppy I have found larger rings that have read and sounded similar I kept my fingers crossed come on gold ring I probed the ground and imediatly hit something solid I opened the grass and what the heck a little gold ladybug I pulled on it gently and out popped 10 more wow a cool gold ladybug bracelet. It was very heavy so I looked inside and on the first and last bugs it says Hidalgo 750 I know from looking up different rings some gold has a three digit hallmark. I dropped it in my pocket pulling it every once in a while just to look at it and feel it's weight and hoping it was the real deal. I hunted for a while longer till I got hot and tired and figured I had already had a pretty good weekend even if the bracelet was real or not. When I got home i couldn't wait to jump on the computer to check the bracelet out I typed 750 hallmark and found out that is a foreign mark for 18k gold then I typed in Hidalgo jewlery and found out is very high end stuff kinda like Tiffany! So the next question what is it worth? After a few minutes scrolling through pages on the computer I found it, I just about died when I saw what it sells for it Weighs 32.30 Grams (20.8 dwt) and sells for 1825.00 that beats my 1200.00 gold and diamond ring by 625.00 here is the info I found on it...Authentic Hidalgo "Ladybug" bracelet of 18k yellow gold. Enamel Ladybug design Bracelet with enameled toggle closure. Each Ladybug measures 11.30mm long x 9.50mm wide.

Bracelet is 7-1/4" long.

Signed Hidalgo

Good man ! I know it's hard to give up a wonderful piece of jewelry like the Lady Bug or the monetary gain, but finding and returning it to the rightful owner will bring you everlasting joy and satisfaction , I'm sure !

I just read 10-12 of your recent posts and was very impressed with your success at finding rings and other goodies ! .... WTG

I think the DeLeon is a great machine, and is underrated in some quarters, and you are making the most of yours. That bracelet is a wonderful find, and if you cannot locate the owner, you will have it as a reminder of how well you are doing with your detector. Congratulations on the great find.
