Day 2 Hunting w/ The CTX 3030

So I went back to the place I found the 2 silver quarters yesterday and didnt do that bad today. Once again the CTX performed really well where iron was a factor. I was hunting in clear screen and I believed this helped me somewhat in getting the deeper coins in the iron. Where there was no iron, the signals were few since this place was pounded by Etracs. I can now confirm that both the Etrac and CTX have similar depth capabilities. The CTX is superior in target separation and awesome at target ID. The signals were more true to the their identifying numbers. I hunted 3 hours today and found several wheaties and a 1934 Washington quarter and 2 Rosys...1948D and 1956.

Wow! Back to back silver days, in an area that had been "pounded" in the past? Nicely done! Although I found my CTX 3030 provides a bit more depth than the E-TRAC, that may be due to my being able to run with a bit higher Sensitivity on the CTX 3030, than I can using the E-TRAC in the same locations. Your analysis on target separation and TID is spot on! HH Randy
