Gulf Hunter

Decided to take the Excal, with a fully charged battery after work on friday evening for an appetizer spin. Began the hunt at 645P and the tide was just about dead low at 0.0L. Winds were light out of the SE. Have been hitting the same area lately, as it has been producing good target density, so I know that I am getting down to it. Hunted about 25 yards off shore, shallow mine, as it were. Ended up with $2.83 in clad and a non-ferrous junker earring. The 1st ring was .925 and the next sounded SOOOOOOOOOO fine and I knew that sweet sound before I dug! Remember that gold ring sound Virginia Beach Pirates? It is 14K, with a nice oval shaped peridot. I like it, I think I'll keep it fer shur! Baled around 1145P and I had a pirate's grin!
