Found it in a bean field today. My buddy Robin found one just like it a few feet away. Mine has no back though.

Nice Confederate button. To bad it doesent have a backmark but atleast a hero wore it.

Send it to Robert McDaniel. He can replace the back and fix the push in the front. Very inexpensive to repair. Good hunting, David
 
Im looking forward to seeing the post of the other button. Sounds like yall have a nice field to hunt, and I look forward to seeing some future finds from that spot.
