Put my NASA Tom 3D together today. I was adding the mid rod to the upper shaft and rolled it upside down.
There beneath where the box slides on was a oval gold sticker with, "China" on it! :throw:
(I did not get any Chinese coins to test it with  )

...........looked in the box and there was a Chinese coin & fortune cookie................opened the fortune it said, " the road to fortune is paved with many batteries."
(the numbers on the other side were girl #33's phone number at the One Hung Lo Massage Parlour & Fish Market in Shanghai.)
I tested the unit out: won't pick up US coins..............but hit the Chinese coin at 2 feet; that is some crazy discrimination [that was without batteries..........Tom really tweeked it! ]

Heck get a used original Fisher CZ.....American made and built like a tank....many of the original 25 year old plus CZ6's are still going strong.....owned and used every model CZ ever made and speak from experience....

is this a joke? not funny at all

CZ3d. Proudly made in El Paso Texas. Parts come from all over, just like all electronic items in today’s world/

and no joke. They may be outsourcing the tube, or entire handle.
(I removed it as soon as I saw it)
