Dating old shotgun shells INFO

Some of those old shotshell butts you are finding can date back to the Civil War and could have some good collector value. Here is a cool webpage that lists and dates all U.S. made shotgun shells from 1860 til. http://members.shaw.ca/cartridge-corner/shotgun.htm
 
I use that site to date mine. It's a good site.
