Dating Detector from Serial #

Is there any way to tell when a Tesoro was manufacture from the serial # ?

Robert, can you tell me/us does the serial number have anything to do with the date of manufacture. The serial/date of manufacture question comes up from time to time & it never seems to get answered clearly. Might be good reason not to tell us I don't know but curious minds want to know

Ok I'll bite when was my two detectors made, first one is a Bandido II juMax serial # 95554 second is a Coquistador microMax # 20A 111165 inquiring minds want to know? Thanks
