Went to an old church yard today and found it freshly mowed , so I was able to get the stock coil on the Vaquero close to the ground .. Been here twice before and found one mercury dime .I super tuned the machine with the sens set at the end of the red line . Had my best outing in a long time .Almost all the finds were deeper than seven inches Some of the photos are sideways . Stupid computer .

Silver in the hole . a 1927 S SLQ My first dated one .

an 1882 indian head

Dont know what this is . H on one side W or M on the other

This was over a foot deep . Sterling handle for something .

More silver in the hole . 1942 D mercury dime .

A heart stopper but plated

This is a stamp and the image is backward . It reads Dairy Feed and if you look close there is a farmer

This was a black church and I found a pin or something from it .

All of todays treasure

Coins and tokens

and finally the silver

well done, and isn't that why we go detecting for you just never know what's coming out and from where and how, looks & sounds like you had fun :bouncy:

That token about the size of a quarter . It has an H on one dide and I think the other side is an M . Could be a W though . I was tyhinking what the initials may stand for and i might have got it . I found it in Hannibal Missouri .

After cleaning the spoon up it might be silver . It says something that i cant read has a trademark and is the correct color but it feels like aluminum .

I really like the diversity of your finds, looks to be a great place to hunt and you'll probably find some more there.

Theres a lot of can slaw but not many tabs . I need to clean the slaw out , maybe dig up some gold .

Wow great finds buddy!!
I've never had a hunt like that!!
Best find so far was a 64 half dollar with compadre, but that will change.
Gotta find some good sites!!
Awesome haul there and wish you many good hunts!!!
You aren't in any kind of a slump there!!

Just goes to show, each hunt is different.
My last few last week I was pulling lots of coins. But yesterday's hunt with the fors relic... lots of junk.
Worst part is one of its best qualities... it's deep even on the Di3 mode.
I've come to the conclusion that I'll be hunting this area with my tesoros first to get out the more modern stuff and hopefully that ring im after, then go back over with the relic. I don't know that machine well so I was digging tabs and can slaw like 12" down. Frusterating.
Back to my tesoros until I cover this area.
I'm more comfortable with my tesoros. And for now, don't want to go deep.
Happy hunting!!

Great hunt, great finds....real diversity in the finds there....do you think they held stalls there from time to time, or just fetes and picnics? Well done.

Congrats on the the SLQ and all your other nice finds:clapping: A SLQ is a tough find indeed! Every once in awhile we have a great outing. It's what we all dream of and what makes this hobby so exciting :yo:

It's just a town lot , I dont know what activities may have happened there .

Love them old buildings as they hold such a variety of treasures to be found. Kudos as looks like a lot of diggn' -John

Looks like a good day! The SLQ and the Indian cent are two of my favorite coins to find. Last time out with my Tejon I was fortunate enough to find two Indians, one "V" nickel and best of all an 1876 Seated quarter!
