Darn rain

I headed out to hunt today and of course as soon as I got a good distance from the truck and started finding things, the light mist falling changed to a downpour and I got truly soaked.
Not much found, but then I was only out about 30 minutes. The knife was down quite a distance under a tree root.

At least you got 30 minutes in. Rain is good for softening the ground and making for easier digging. :)

Cool looking spoon.

Nice going! I found the best water repellant, just don't take a shower for a week or two and the water will bead right off ya!?:drinking:

Well I say good hunt! We need some rain here! You found some cool stuff and as said the rain helps the digging. Beale.

My hunt was cut short on Saturday. I planed to stay out for 4 hours, but only got in two and a half. I did get to go to one of my favorite spots ( always yields some good clad targets) ended up with 6 quarters (2 from a coin spill), 4 dimes, 4 nickels, 10 pennies and 2 junk rings. I was a little disappointed to have to stop, but I was soaked. I was excited however to see my garden today. It is growing like crazy, some of the growth due to the rain. We really needed it, plus it softens the ground for digging. HH this week everone.
