Dark Screen

Hello,

Heading out this afternoon with the wife. We each have the 3030, her's is the latest with all the new bells and whistles. Charged up the batteries and fired them both up and noticed that her screen is much darker than mine. I determined that the only differenced between the 2 machines is that the backlight is off on her's. I've tried everything and can't get it to turn on. Any help would be much appreciated.

I just tried to switch off the backlight screen on mime and it won't turn off.

This is what it says in the manual, I don't understand it. How does one control the backlight, if not by using the user buttons?

The Backlight settings are only available when the Backlight is not controlled by the user buttons.

Are you sure it's not being controlled by the user button push your user button long push and see if your backlight is check . sube

Try it, it doesn't work. A long push will take you back to the options bar.
